Viridian Solar is an ISO certified UK manufacturer of roof integrated solar panels. The company are based near to Cambridge where all their solar products are also designed.
After providing a VoIP solution for an affiliated business, Bluecube were asked to tender to provide a communications solution for Viridian Solar a larger organisation with more diverse communication requirements.
A multiple user Wildix UCaaS solution deployed by Bluecube for staff based at head office in Cambridge and the team working remotely.
The team at Bluecube worked with the client to build a hybrid UCaaS solution. Hardware and software were deployed to provide a communication solution that allowed telephony, video calls, video conferencing, chat, file sharing and real time presence services.
A communication solution that offers flexibility
After the first UK lockdown in 2020, the management team at Viridian were looking for a communications solution that offered them the flexibility to work in the office or remotely without compromising on what tools they had access to outside of the office.
In our initial meeting with the client we discussed the various products available from Bluecube and gave a brief demonstration of each solution. The decision was made to quote for a Wildix UCaaS solution and the order was placed.
Wildix UCaaS Implementation and Training
The organisation wanted to maintain desk phones for staff when they were in the office but roll out UCaaS licenses so that the team could opt to work from a laptop, PC, Mac, tablet or smart phone when working remotely.
Wildix is a browser-based solution allowing the user to follow a URL and login with a username and secure password on any chosen device.
The service delivery team liaised with the customer to agree the solution architecture. Inbound ring patterns, hunt groups, features and individual user rules were applied before the account was built and configured to specification prior to the installation.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the service delivery team at Bluecube have conducted remote installations and training since May 2020. Equipment is delivered ready to plug and play, credentials and login information provided to end users and a training programme agreed with all new customers.
A complete UCaas Solution
The Wildix deployment at Viridian Solar has safeguarded the business against any need to work remotely now or in the future. Staff can work just as effectively at home as they can in the office and access all communication tools from any location. The mobile application that comes as standard with Wildix even allows the end user to work effectively whilst travelling. Managing call and seeing live presence is as easy from a mobile device as it is from a laptop, tablet, PC or Mac.
